small groups

The heart of our ministry is small groups. Our small groups are made up of boys or girls in the same grade, and they are led by our volunteer leaders who have a heart for ministry and working with kids. Last year our leaders spent over 14,000 hours with their small group kids! Each one of our small groups is led by KLIFE volunteers (college age or older) or a KLIFE staff member. The leaders have been through an interview process with a staff member, have been background checked, and have signed a commitment to follow Christ in their own life. The groups are assembled according first by gender, then by groups of friends possibly covering a couple of grades, but are purposeful in bringing groups of kids together to build accountability relationships. KLIFE small groups meet once a week to study the Bible or a biblically-based book, but our leaders also love spending time with their kids at school, sporting events, or for a quick run to Sonic.

Most of our small group bible studies are led straight from the Bible, however we also utilize the resource of RightNow Media! RightNow Media is a massive digital streaming library providing over 25,000 biblically-based videos. For more information, click here.
